Ingredients & packaging

Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Olive Oil, Olive Wax, Grapeseed Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil.

Packaging: metal tin, paper label.

Please note, there is a plastic disc in the lid for hygiene purposes, and a plastic lining on the paper labels for legal reasons (the ingredients list must be readable). The brands we work with are actively looking for alternatives, but very few exist at the moment.

Shorebox’s packaging is 100% plastic-free. We use recycled cardboard boxes, recycled paper stuffing, and paper tape.

Massage a small amount (roughly the size of a ten pence coin) of the balm onto dry skin. Gently remove using your facecloth — soaking the facecloth in mild warm water will boost the effectiveness of this process.  Finish with a splash of cold water and follow up with a toner and moisturiser to nourish your skin after cleansing. Gentle enough for eyes and lips too.

Brand story

Melanie started White Rabbit Skincare in 2014 after being diagnosed with the skin condition psoriasis.

She researched traditional treatments for skin conditions, and was horrified to discover that not only does your skin absorb up to 60% of what you put onto it into your blood stream, but the majority of products on the market were full of irritants and synthetic ingredients.

So Melanie set out to create a range of skincare products that not only she could trust, but others could too, to help you feel confident in your own skin again.
Her products are handmade in Scotland.
